"The book on formation written by Fr. S.M. Selvaratnam, OMI, a Sri Lankan religious priest, should be read by formators and those who are being trained to become formators. Second, it is a book that can be used for group study and prayerful reflection by formators and to-be-formators belonging to different Congregations and dioceses, with some dedicated lay faithful (women and men). Third, in order to promote and nurture ongoing study and reflection on this important topic of formation, the outcome of the group discussions and reflections could be circulated via e-mail and also printed and made available for ongoing study, prayerful reflection and discernment since we are living in a world where change has become permanent.
