The Oblate Communications Service, through different means of communication, facilitates the exchange and sharing of information throughout the Congregation and beyond and fosters the use of media for animating the Oblate family.”

Its intention is help the Oblates and the lay associates (including the youth) to share their lived experiences with one another on various media platforms, and thereby to create a sense of unity and family spirit, in spite of their cultural differences. Further, this Service renders an important support to the communion between the General Administration and the entire Congregation and, at the same time, among the different Units of the Congregation.

The Director of the Communications Service functions as

• Audiovisual Producer (interviews, podcasts, videos for animation, etc.)
• Writer/translator of news articles
• Editor of the newsletters OMI Information and Communique
