In the world of today, media has become as necessary as food and clothing. It has played significant role in strengthening the society. Media is considered as "mirror" of the modern society, infect, it is the media, which shapes our lives. Therefore we as the leaders of the Church have a great responsibility to guide and monitor specially the youth and the children who are much more than the adults exposed to it.


Office structure & development

The National Catholic Centre for Social Communication operates under the direct supervision of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Sri Lanka where the Chairman Bishop and the vice chairman Bishop are set apart for the National Commission for the Catholic Social Communication and the National Director is appointed and directly held responsible to the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Sri Lanka.
