Sidupiyanila farm extended Sidupiyanila farm is blessed with a new piggery. In view of supporting the budget of the Sacred Heart Novitiate and to increase the income of the farm a new piggery was built behind the cow shade close to the vegetable garden. We are greatful to Rev. Fr. Srian Ranasinghe OMI, the Director and Members of the Oblate Missions for the financial support given to us. The long standing dream was realized with their generous support. Strong sense of belonging of the Novices was brought out in their hard labour. They contributed with their labour by digging, carrying and filling the construction site with soil. Our Good Lord continue to bless us and keep us safe in His providential care. And lots of signs continue to prove his hand in our lives and in our Novitiate community. At the completion of the construction Fr. Jagath Anthony OMI, the novice master and Fr. Nimal Marius OMI the superior of the Uva Oblate District blessed the new piggery. And God assured His blessings with newly born 14 piglets.
